Great place to stop in for coffee and breakfast. The coffee was great and they had lots of options for those folks who enjoy flavors or frou frou coffees. The pastries were nice and they also are linked up to the restaurant next door which means you can ask to see a menu and order "real food." Lovely place to get some work done while traveling.

Gosh, I wish I had better things to say about this place. I so appreciate an independent coffee shop in a central location of a town this size. The coffee is just not good, however. It's thin and bitter. I didn't try anything else here, so can't comment on the pastry or edibles. But a coffee house should have good coffee, and, as cute as this place is, it fails in that most important department. What I wish for them is that they learn their craft and buy some better coffee. Better yet, how about sourcing and roasting your own beans? And then buy some real half and half, not that stuff in the little disposable single serving plastic containers. That cream has been thoroughly denatured by ultra pasteurization, and the plastic is a waste. Moving on.

I can't understand opening a coffee shop and not really being interested enough in coffee to serve a palatable cup. I had a decaf Americano that tasted like bad diner coffee that burnt on a hot plate. You can buy incredible coffee these days for your shop and I doubt these folks tried any of them. With Starbucks looming around every corner threatening to put another dagger in the American dream, you have to step up and deliver a better cup. It's not hard because their coffee isn't great. Time to taste test some coffees and learn your trade.

Cute and quaint little coffee shop kind deserted on graduation morning across the street from the ISU College. But the sales clerk seems uninterested in being here and was reluctant to leave the back room to serve us. When he finally came out the serve us, he spoke in a whisper, and we could barely hear him. Sheri like tea so we asked about the tea , any an absolutely no knowledge about any of the tea they carried. The shop must sell quite a bit of tea, as they have 9 different varieties. After completing the sale he disappeared back into the back room leaving us unsupervised in the shop. Coffee shops it's on the corner but once use to be the Crossroads of America where US 41 and US 40 intersected in Terre Haute. The shop itself looks as if it comes right out of American History from the Depression era antique chalkboard menus, hanging ceiling fans with Tiffany lamps an antique display cases filled with Christmas merchandise. I personally think the owner would be miffed at their employee's behavior.

It's a nice little "homey" setting. Good breakfast, pastries and coffee. Free wifi. Good location in downtown Terre Haute. Cute knick knacks you can buy too. I've only had it one time when they closed early and there was no reason explained why

Pretty decent place. Service was good. I ordered the protein shake which had whey, peanut butter, sugar-free chocolate, and maybe something else.
